[ For the passed couple of days I have had a brownish discharge and occasionally a small amount of blood that was not mixed with my discharge. The blood might appear today only once and probably the next 2 days. I had recently had sex 13 days ago, my boyfriend did not at all after which my discharge was clear and thin then it became brownish with occasional blood. So what could be my problem and is there a chance that I might be pregnant?:confused:

Anytime you have sex with penetration there is a possibility of being pregnant. Have you recently stop or started any kind of medications? Stressed? You might some bleeding/discharge from a tear or something that happened during sex. Maybe your period is off schedule. If you are 2 weeks late from your normal period (if you have a normal one) take a HPT with your first morning urine or go see a doctor for a blood test which is more accurate. If the test result in negative they will be able to guide you better with what is going on.

A brown dischage usually indicates old blood. Old blood is brown. This is common at the beginning and again at the end of your period. The clearish discharge is a sign of ovulation. When are you due for your next period?

As jrb said, you can get pregnant when you have sex, protected or not. The only thing you can do right now is wait until your next period. Without missing a period, it is hard to tell when to start testing for pregnancy. If you miss a period, wait 14 days and take a urine test using your first morning urine, or you can get a blood test from your doctor. Good luck :)
