    Repairing 2nd floor shower drain
As others, my shower drain has leaked on to my first floor ceiling. Attached is a picture of the drain. Should there not be some type of sealent material to block the OD and ID voids?

Your attachment didn't come through. Can you reach the drain from underneath? Even if you have to open up the ceiling to do it? Back to you. Tom

Yes I can if I have to but I would like to show you the pic of the drain from the top. There seems to be a lot of space between the pipe diameters. I will try and resize and resend picture.
