    Franke Faucet low pressure
I have read all the postings on low water pressure and can not find an anwer that would help me. I have a franke faucet series ff300 and have just in the past 6 months notice a severe drop in water pressure. Nothing that I am aware of that changed in my home. Just all of a sudden - dropped right off. I took the screens off and there does not seem to be any build up. The valves are wide open under the sink. I have tried everything. I found a diagram of my faucet on the web, but I don't dare attempt any major work. Have you any other ideas of what is causing the low pressure? All other faucets including the dishwasher are working fine. Here is the link to the website that shows a diagram of my faucet.

There are two possible problems and simple solutions1 the pressure reducer at the end of the pull out hose is clogged - get a free replacement from franke3 for the ff300 to the screen in the faucet cartridge is clogged - take off handle - pull off cover - unscrew the cartridge - not take apart cartridge - look at it and break out screen nicely - and reassemble hyde md facep durham nc

Great advice by Sail. Check and clean the inlet ports of the cartridge and if you have to replace the cartridge ask for a #3699 Cartridge. Before you button back up turn the water back on for a minute to flush out the supplies and the valve body. Good luck, Tom
