    Knee injury healed itself .BUT!
I had a knee injury that I was seen at the hospital for, and the ER dr gave me a knee brace and told me to just ice the knee and if it wasn't better, then I needed to see a Orthopedic dr. However, I don't have anymore pain, but now I have this "bonelike" lump sticking out the right side of knee... does anyone know what that is? I have absolutely NO pain or problems with my knee now, but I want to make sure that its not a growth that needs immediate attention.
    All replys greatly appreciated!:)

It's probably just some hardened mass of tissue that sometimes develops after an injury... scar tissue. You best bet however, would be to see the doctor anyway so that he/she can probably make sure all is okay. For now, it would be wise to be easy with the knee just in case. Good luck!
