    Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan
Fan works but light does not. I think it only needs a new bulb but I can't figure out how to change the bulb. Is there a trick to getting the globe off? This is my first house and this seems to be a major struggle... Thanks!:(

Need info about lite location. The main globe usually have small screws around it and you simply unscrew and release the globe for the lite bulb to be changed. Some have upper and lower lites. If yours have both lites (upper and lower) then the small upper lites are harder to get to. The small lites installed in the top that have to be accessed from above the lite unit and they are a bit harder to changed. But you do the same thing. They have screws that you unscrew and get to the small lites and change them. If that doesn't help, you can "google" for Harbor Breeze fans and they will help you with your fan/lite unit. Make sure you locate the info for the unit you have so you can get the right info for your type fan/lite --- Ace

Sometimes the bottom light doesn't have any screws, the whole glass screws out.

I replaced the pull switch for fan motor. In the process of rewiring the new pull switch, the black wire from old switch was not connected, so when I replaced with new switch I connected black wires. The light works but fan doesn't. The switch is a 4-wire pull chain switch.
