    Whirplool Washing Machine
    I have a 4 1/2 year old whirpool washing machine. The machine aggitates but does not drain or spin. The timer actually stops at the draining stage.

    Check the lid switch. If it is bad it will not let it spin and many units the drain cycle is incorporated with the spin cycly
