Starting my 93 Honda Civic after 7 months
My question is about my 93 Honda Civic. I've been on deployment for the last 7 months and I left my car at a long term parking place while I was gone. What is the chance I will have problems starting my car with the battery dissconnected? Also will there be any other problems with my car?

Two issues normally arise, when cars are parked for extended periods. First, the battery will likely discharge, due to normal voltaic action and parasitic drain. It would be better to disconnect the battery. Second, the fuel will deteriorate (lose volatility and leave gum residue in injectors, etc.) and can cause hard starting problems. Use of a fuel stabilizer may help. Naturally, it's preferable to have a friend periodically run the car.

The car turns over fine but has no spark or fuel. I have checked the fuel pump, the FI relay, ICM, and replaced the ignition switch. I have looked for broken ground wires in the harness and found none. The car has not been modified (no after market stereo). Bought from original owner. The car...
