[sad but true]

This is the scenerio. I reside in Alberta, Canada, my sister in law still owed me $241.00 on a computer on my credit card that is in my name that I had purchased for her pretty much 2 years ago.. she was willing to pay it out finally by using her new credit card, it's the kind of card where you can't withdrawl money from only make purchases.. so for her to get the money she bought a computer for my friend for $316.00, my friend gave me all the cash for her to pay out my computer account which I did, (so that leaves things clear between me and my sister in law) so there was a remainder of $75.00 afterwards.. I remembered that she still owed me $50.00 from before so I kept it which left her with $25.00, I told her "i'm keeping the 50 from the other loan two months ago" she had a fit and caused a scene, over what.. something she owed me in the first place, she REFUSED to take the 25 so I had to leave the scene with the money before things got really ugly, she then goes to the police and makes up this big drama story that I assulted her( I never touched her), I stold her money(I willing handed her her share that she refused), she is trying to charge my friend for theft/robbery over the computer (that she legally signed over to my friend with a witness signature on top of that stating that my friend paid it by cash in full), I can't believe she is crying over this $75.00, now she wants that computer back, she wants the $316 from her card. So this is where the questions falls in place.. her next attempt is to take me to civil court /small claims court over this matter hahaha I know, unfortunately I have no proof of her owed me the 50(basically my word against hers), what are the chances of her winning this ridiculous case if it narrows down to civil court? This is just crazy.

Is she willing to go that far - think of the court costs alone. Or is she simply threatening to do it. I suggest you both get together and try to work out a compromise before it gets too ugly.
