    Refrigerator runs it smells
I have noticed the past couple of days that when my refidgerator is running it smells like thawed out chicken. All the food in it is cold and the freezer is freezing. Any thoughts?

You need to clean the drain tray at the bottom of the refrigerator accessible from the back of the refrigerator usually. Some refrigerators are modeled stupidly in that they put the fan right smack above this tray and this tray is full of black yucky & stinky stuff. It happened in one of my rental properties & the refrigerator repair guy told me to do this, we did it, and it corrected the problem at least for some months.

I agree with Bronmere. I also find it helpful to put a couple of teaspoons of simple green or other disinfectant in the pan to keep the junk from growing back.

Thanks for the advice! Cleaned out and put baking soda in there and no more smell! Thanks again!
