I am putting disconects on the 2 batterys in my motor home and need to know if the diconects should be on the positive or negative post.

Disconnects should be on the Positive's.
When disconnecting batteries, disconnect ground first.
When reconnecting batteries, connect, positive first.
Helps to keep from shorting power to ground.
