    Could I be pregnant?
    Hi everyone. I'm 21 and have a feeling I may be pregnant! I have been reading a lot of sites about the early signs of pregnancy, sore breasts, nausia etc. I have been feeling dizzy, and a little sick and period is only 1 day late. However it is usually very regular, but my breasts are not sore! I also took a home pregnancy test that read negative. Could I still be pregnant? All answers welcome! Please help

    Well guess what! I am one day late as well but you do know that one day late isn't really considered "late." Yeah I know it stinks! Yes, you could still be pregnant. Your hcg levels may not be high enough yet so the best thing you can do it either wait about 10 days and take another HPT with your first morning urine or go to the doctor and have them perform a quantitative blood test(very accurate).     Yes you could be. Of course it may be to early for a HPT. A blood test is more reliable. If you were on birth control and missed a few days this could also be a reason why you feel this way. Wait at least two more weeks and try another HPT with your first urine.

    With my last pregnancy(ended in miscarriage at about 4.5 weeks) I didn't have what you would call sore breasts either, just tingly, tender nipples.

    It is possible. The hpt could read negative because you don't have enough hcg built up yet. Although I took a hpt after being one day late and it read positive. Everyone is different. Wait a little longer and see what happens. Don't stress yourself out about it though because that could delay your period if you are not pregnant.
