    Blocked Drain in Bathroom
    Hi,
Maybe someone here can help me. I recently had a 2nd floor bathroom remodeled because of bad drains. Now the sink is not draining. It runs to the main drain above the toilet and shower/bath. However, the toilet and shower/bath are draining fine. Any suggestions?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Jason

OK just what did they do to remodel your bath with the bad drains? If new drain pipes were installed they should not be plugged. "It runs to the main drain above the toilet and shower/bath. " Could you rephrase this, I'm just not picturing what you have said.

You most likely have a clog in the drain line in the wall. Remove the "J" bend from the trap and send a snake up the trap tail into the wall. You will run into a 90 about 8 inches in but crank and work your way around it and put out 6 feet more. Flush the line out with hot water afterwards. Good luck, Toim

Sorry. They tied into the existing cast iron drains at the vertical drain in the wall.
    Thanks guys.
