    Father child
Can a father legally bring his child to his side of the family to visit or for family reuions, or just to have a place to watch his daughter away from a stressful and hostile environment for a few hours a day, without getting in trouble by the law. He has never been allowed to bring his 7 month old daughter to his side of the family. The wife doesn't like them because they go to church. They are looking into divorce. The wife has kicked him out of her parents house where they lived, but she demands that he come there and take care of the baby for all the evening and wee hour morning feedings till 2 A.M, while she does whatever she wants and threatens him with bodily injure or death if he falls asleep while he is watching their baby. He is not allowed to take her away from the house except to walk her in the stroller. He goes to his parents home and sleeps till 5:45 Am leaves for work at 6 AM works till 5 P.M. then it's the same thing all over again everyday. He does it because he wants to see his daughter, and he is so controlled by his wife, and he still hopes maybe she will change her mind about divorce.

What he NEEDS to do is file for divorce AND custody of the baby. It sounds like he is only in the marriage for the sake of the baby and that's the wrong reasons.

If he can document that the mother doesn't take good care of the baby, he stands a chance of getting custody. At the least, he should be able to force visitation where he can do what he wants with the child.

Sad to say he is the father and she is the mother and they both should have access of their children!! They just need to sit down and talk to each other like humans and figure out what times and days are good for each other to be able to have the children. He should also be able to take his own children to see their other GRANDPARENTS! God forbid these kids grow up to be just like their mom or dad, without a happy home. I wish you all the luck in the world and never give up on family.

He can take her wherever he wants. He needs to stop letting this woman walk all over him and step up to the plate. He should go to court and get a visitation order stipulating that he's allowed to take her for visitation with his family. Why did he let his wife kick him out of the house? If he wanted to leave he certainly shouldn't be going back there every evening. That's why he needs the court order, so he can visit with her on his (and the court's) terms, not hers.
