    Acknowledge a birthday?
My ex broke up with me a couple of months ago after a 2 year relationship, and I initiated no contact with her. Its her 19th b'day in a couple of days time and I was wondering if I should get in touch to wish her a happy b'day? I still like her so what do you guys think?

I did that to one of my girls I liked the most. It made nothing better. It just made me feel bad because of thinking about her when she does reply to me.

If she broke up with you - leave her be... she will not change her mind, no matter what you do. If she ever changes her mind - it will be on her own.

It's a 'Nice Guy' thing to do.

2 years is a long time, but I have a feeling sending nothing or no contact is the right thing to do. I know it's hard AND you'd think sending a funny card or flower would be right, BUT woman live in the bizzaro world - it might be more powerful to send nothing.

I think the only way to get her back is no contact, date other people, CHANGE yourself, get in great shape, new hobbies, learn about woman, figure out what you did to chase her away (too much contact? smother? jealousy? too available).

You can NEVER convince a woman you've been with to like you - never. She needs to be attracted to you - and PEOPLE WANT WHAT THEY CAN'T HAVE - ALWAYS. Not sending something shows she doesn't have you.

Does that hold water when dealing with an ex that's a guy? I think my fear would be (generally speaking here) that not sending something shows you don't care... and gives off a "F U" vibe, even if it ended amicably. Then again, it probably does drive the point home that you're not there anymore, you've stopped waiting. I just hope that kind of message doesn't blow up in your face...
