Trouble with windows on Jeep Cherokee. Anyone else?
    Hello,

This may sound unusual but I am looking to see if anyone else has had a problem with window regulators on their Jeep Cherokee's. That is where your window will roll down but will not come back up. This is my second window to do this and in my small area, there are a few others. Please let me know if you have this problem too. The cost is 450 dollars to get if fixed each window. Chrysler says with enough complaints, they may investigate a recall. Please let me know if this has affected you too!!

    Thanks!!

I own a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 3 out of the 4 windows have fallen. I expect the last one to drop any day now.

I also own a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport and 2 of the 4 windows have fallen on this vehicle as well.

I have gotten no response from Jeep when I attempt to tell them about the windows. I also have another friend who owns a Jeep Cherokee and his windows have fallen too.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response and Jeep seems to give me the run around also but they say people with this problem is either not reporting it or getting it fixed under warranty work and letting it go. Everyone in my area with the problem ( which is approximately 7 other Jeep owners with 1 or more windows) has reported it and gets the same answer. What do we do? Who wants a vehicle you have to worry about the windows. I was on vacation 6 hours from home when one of mine happened.

I've got a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so far one window has done this, the cable inside got all twisted. Cost me $200 to fix, I purchased the regulator off eBay. Maybe this is a generic issue.

I had another window drop. My daughter was in CA and they sure believe in charging for their services. Tried to see if recall was in the pipe line but no satisfaction. Now two more windows to go.

1997 Jeep Cherokee... I purchased this a year ago from an elderly couple so I thought that it would be in decent shape. When I purchased it the antifreeze didn't have too much of a problem. Once winter rolled around it would go through antifreeze like crazy but no leaks. I had Firestone do a...
