    I Don't Know What's Wrong With Me.
    My name is Mandie, lately I just feel sad, well BORED! I can watch t.v. play with my dogs, get on the computer. But I just feel yukky. What do I do? :(

    Maybe try some new hobbies? I know that lifted me out of a funk (feelings bored and "blah" all the time). Maybe find out if there are any classes in the area and talk to your parents about getting you signed up. Or maybe is there something your mom or siblings do that they could teach you and you get a new hobby that way.

    Hi Mandie!!

    How about writing a book? Calling a friend on the phone.

    Yeah, the summer funk can get us down, my kids are going through the same thing right now, good thing school starts next week for them, LOL

    My daughter (13) has decided to write a children's book, illustrations included, she is having a GREAT time making it all up.

    Catch a movie with some friends, have a sleep over, or invite people to a small picnic in your backyard. :)

    Why? It is the same thing you are going through basically. It is the end of their summer, swim team is over, soccer hasn't yet started, and they go back to school next week, they are bored too, just like you, we just call it the summer funk.

    It was my daughter's idea to try and write a children's book. Personally I thought it was a wonderful idea for a 13 year old to think of.

    I think she meant she felt bad that they had to go back to school already :)

    BTW the book is a great idea. I spent many happy summers writing books about my dog and how she was really a superhero ;)

    But it doesn't just have to be a story.. it could be poetry... it could be anyhting..... just writing is a great thing over all:D
