    Change court jurisdiction
OK guys you were all really helpful on my last topic so I'm back. How do I go about changing my court jurisdiction from Arizona to California. It is a custody child visitation case and the child resides with me in California for the past two years. Our case is not active right now but I'm going to charge him with statutory rape/rape and try and get full custody but I want California jurisdiction first. How do I do this? Is it hard to do? What type of lawyer do I need? What actions should I take first?

File a request with the Court in California to transfer the custody order. You will have to find the correct form in CA to file that request, or hire an attorney to do it for you.
