    Refrigerator ice dispenser doesn't.
I have a GE profile refrigerator which makes plenty of ice but won't dispense through the door. The auger works OK but the ice maker is overfilling with water (not overflowing). The "string" of cubes is too large to break up and enter the dispensing chute. Is there any way to adjust the amount of water entering the tray? Solenoid adjustment?

Could it be that you have too high of water pressure? Since the tray is filled on a timed basis maybe you could put a valve into the water (1/4" line) and pinch down on it a little to reduce the water flow. Mike

GE Ice Dispenser motor kaput! [ 1 Answers ]

I have a 2 year old GE GSS20I model fridge. Ice dispenser on door doesn't come on. We have checked to see if there is an obstruction or a frozen part (in a freezer!) but no luck. Doesn't "whir" or anything. Is there a fuse? GE wants to send a guy out instead of talking to me over the phone....
