    Spotting between periods
    Yesterday I began spotting, to begin with it was a brownish colour and only when I wiped, later on in the day it had turned a bright red, but now its gone to a brownish colour again, it is only when I wipe and its not heavy enough for a period. My ovulation date was on Saturday and I finished my period on the 13th of July, and from what I can see from looking for advice I think its too early to be related to pregnancy. My periods are quite regular given a day or two and this has never happened before, what could be the reason for my spotting?

    It is not uncommon for women to spot here and there between their period. It can be caused by ovulation, when the egg is released from the ovary :)
