I had a mental breakdown a few years ago and it left my husband looking for someone to lean on which in turn became an affair , We chose to work on our relationship I went on medication which helped a lot , I still have issues with him wanting to go back to work without that person being there any more . I have even spoken to her but when he talks about going back to work I get really sick , will this change

It will get better.
Do you receive support from other people or organizations, someone other than your husband?
Does he have friends of family that he can look to for support as well.
Is it possible for your husband to find work where he will no longer have contact with this female?
Sometimes it's hard to see alternatives when your in the midst of turmoil.

It will get better, I repeat that because it is important to remember.

I know, I was institutionalized after trying to commit suicide. At the time it seemed like the only path I had to take. I'm glad to survive. (At times I'm not, but I know that this is just the stress thinking). My partner has stayed with me through it, he sometimes breaks down himself and at times complains he has no one to share the load. After taking him to my Psychiatrist with me he was able to seek support in his sister. We agreed on someone who I felt comfortable revealing my condition to. The more people you tell the less the burden is (although it felt like I had no one at the time).
