    Parental Controls
    Hello, I'm a parent and I want to install parental control on my two kids' laptops. I want a program that will allow me to see what the are doing, and stop them if nessasary, and restrict them from certain areas of the web like chat rooms, aim, msn during certain times of the day.they are laptops so are any prgrams that'll do that?

    Hi,
    Have you tried this?
    At any website, click on Tools at the top, then click on Internet Options.
    Click on the Content tab at top of that window.
    Under the heading "Content Advisor", click on the Enable button.
    There, you can choose all 4 or 5 categories to filter out, not show.

    What Internet service do you use? Do you have a network that shares the Internet Connection? If so, how is the network set up? In my opinion AOL has the best parental controls with MSN second. All the parental controls on AOL are included in the cost. You can restrict the times and the things they access. With a compatible router you can apply the restirctions to any Internet activity.

    One last suggestion. Please let your kids know exactly what you are doing and why. If you set this up behind their backs and they find out you are spying on them, it may hurt your relationship with them.
