A friend of mine has a '95 Deville. The owner is not present but I figure the car has over 100K miles.

Two issues:

1) When the lights are turned on - even when the car is running - the "ding ding ding" you've-left-your-lights-on chime never goes off. It is maddening driving the car in the dark or in the rain.

And 2) The fuel gauge and trip meter (mpg etc) do not work at all.

Anyone else had issues Like this? What could it be?
