    Keeping busy that doesn't include a bottle.
    Hello, I posted a question yesterday but didn't get too much response. (Maybe because of the locations I posted, new to this... sorry, but it is called 'Learning to live 'MY' life') I am looking for things to do that don't involve bar tabs and hangovers. Any ideas? I am newly single and need to stay busy!

    Go to a gym, library..

    Volunteer at hospitals or nursing homes

    Join Big Brother or Big Sisters

    Jeez, there are a MILLION other things to do than get drunk.

    I and my kids love kicking around in woods and streams. And to make it fun, constantly be looking down, and turning over rocks and logs to find cool critters, fossils, etc.

    Use a stick, though, just in case you're in an area with poisonous snakes :)
