    Nero
    Hi,
I also use Nero; my version is Nero Express 5; which I really like.
When you burn music, don't do it as a "Copy CD", or whatever your version calls it; to automatically burn the whole CD to a CD-R.
Use the Add button, and manually select what you want to burn.
To answer your question about knowing beforehand if it will successfully burn, No; there isn't any way to know until it tries!
    Best wishes,
    fredg
PS; If you buy Music CD-R from Walmart or another discount store, you can get 50 CD-R's for around 14 dollars US.

    Thanks...
Gee, thanks for your reply, but how can I check if my audio or mp3 files or all other files are burnedable and not corrupted is there any software for this prob... one thing is I used to burn by add file as you said, but why is it the file size meter tells that there still a space (I guess I just compiled 650MB), but when I press the burn botton there's a message pop saying there is no enaugh space to burn this compilation how is that happened while the meter tells that there is an MB allowance ... hope you can still help me at this point...

    Burning
    Hi,
Before you click on the Add buton, drag the screen up until you can see the meter on the other screen.
In that way, you can see if you have crossed the "yellow" line, before you tell it finished.
If you cross the yellow line, it may or may not burn all you want... stay to the left of the Yellow warning line.
When you open Nero, and start to Add files or music, there is a drop down arrow that lists all the .file names that can be burned. Hold your mouse over the listing, and you can see all names that will be burned.
    Best wishes,
    fredg
