Should I pay for preffered internet access?
Been in Germany for 2 years... using DSL and now have gotten hooked up to internet via Cox Cable... my husband and I use the internet for routine purposes.. email and some research but nothing highspeed:rolleyes: my ? Is whether not it would be frugal or stupid to save 15.00 a month getting the regular speed the diff is

    Preffered plan/ 5mg downstream
    2mg upstream
    VS.

    reg./ 1.5mg downstream
    256kb upstream

I am not seeing the difference in speed going from DSL to Digital?
Whatever that all means I am hoping you can tell me if it is worth the extra $

It really depends on your usage.
For most everyday use, general surfing and e-mail the regular plan will suite most people.
If you spend a lot of time on sites like Youtube that benefit from high bandwidth connections then the preferred would be better.

Also the difference in price also makes a difference. If you can comforably afford the extra then go for the preferred plan.
