    Children's cartoon/movie
    :confused: this is killing me! I've recently recalled watching a cartoon/movie when I was a kid about some nerdy boy and he has like these books that talk to him? And they fly? But that's all I can really remember :S please help me what is it?

    Are you thinking of "The Pagemaster"? This movie starts with real people and then becomes a cartoon, and the boy meets 3 books who talk & one of them flies.
