What action can be taken on e-mailers mailing fraudulent messages in the name of uk national lottery/irish lottery stating that we have won 1 million dollers/sterling?

It is better not to respond to such e-mails. Though they appear to have been very much true. Fedwick Bank plc, or agent of national lotteries lures by asking you to remit megre amount towards charges for transferring such huge winning funds. But all of them are e-mail scams. So do not react on them.

    Action - none at all.
The authorities see these things numerous times a day, but it's like shooting the wind, impossible to achieve.

DON'T ever respond as you will be telling the spammer that your account is live and you'll get a shed load more.
