    MD statute of limitations on debt
    When does the 3 year period for the debt statute of limitations on credit card debt begin, at last payment or when it is charged off? Thanks!

    On the date you last admitted the debt was yours I was always told, so therefore the date of your last payment or the date of your last missed payment.

    Ex: If you agreed to pay something towards it last month it has only just begun. Or if the debt is 3 years old but you made a payment arrangement 2 years ago it has been 2 years.
