    goodman thermostat going to honeywell
    OK here's what I got I have a manual goodman thermostat on a heat pump with auxiliary heat. On the goodman thermostat this is how it was waired, C=blue wire, E= garyish wire, W2= white, G=green, R=red, O= orange.

    now this is how I hooked up the honeywell, this is vision pro 8000 touchscreen th8320u1008.

    RC jumped with R= red
    O/B=orange
    y=yellow
    G=green
    C= blue
    E=brown
    AUX= white there is not a (W2)

    the only thing I can get to come in is the heat and only when the system is in the cool mode. I got something wrong and I do not know what please help

    In the instruction book you received with the thermostat there is a section on avanced set up, you may need to insure that the "O" is switched to on.This is for the reversing valve in the outdoor unit. If it asks you heat pump say yes.

    OK I got system set to 2 heat/ 1 cool heat pump with aux. heat
    And the o/b set to therminal controls valve in cooling. That got the heat to stop coming on in cool mode but it still don't cool just the fan comes on, set at 50 for 3 hours and it is still 85 in here please help.

    I called honeywell they won't help and no contractors in my area will install honeywell either.
