Error: network path was not found
I have a computer running Windows Server 2003 which I would like to be able to open a computer with shared folders on the network, however when I try to open it I get the error "network path was not found" I am able to explore to the computer I want and I can open other computers within the same domain as the one I want I just can't open the one I want.

Any help on this would be appriciated, thank you

Since you are able to open other computers I suspect that the computer that is not responding may have either a bad network card, bad network driver or a problematic cable. I would check the cable first and make sure it's properly seated, then if this is OK I would then check the LAN socket to make sure that the other end which is in a switch or hub is connected properly. You could also try swapping out one of the other computers that is known to work with the one that is problematic to see if it might not be the LAN connection. If the LAN connection is good then you go back and try updating or re-installing the network drivers.

    Hope this helps.

Is the folder you want to view a shared folder? I see you can browse the computer, but if the folder isn't shared you won't see it.
