There are way too many dangers associated with steroids. Never take steroids unless they are prescribed short term by your doctor for a medical condition.

I know I know. I was kidding. I thought everyone would know I was kidding because no one likes anyone who take steroids, cause they're stupid. Guess I'm not funny.

How would we know you are kidding when steroids was the only word you typed? We are not mind readers here.
People come here for advice, REAL advice. There are children here, such as the OP, some of whom take what we say as gold. Give the real thing or none at all.

You're not going to find something unless you have a medical issue that is limiting your endurance. An example is albuterol for asthmatics. While it can easily increase the endurance of an asthmatic by preventing/treating airway constriction, it will do little to nothing for a non-asthmatic.
Consider old fashion hard work and improve your endurance through training.

Cinnabar disagrees: The harmful associated effects are generally due to abuse, not use. Steroids can be used safely.
I understand this completely. I was trying to point out to the person that posted above me that there are dangers involved with steroid use.
My son is on steroids (he's 5), I am a nursing student. I KNOW this. Just attempting to get a point across.

I'm assuming he is on a corticosteroid which is very different from anabolic steroids, which is what was referred to in this thread. I just think it's important for people to realize that there is a risk associated with everything but media hype provides a lot of inaccurate negative connotations. Much of the risk/danger can be mitigated with simply not abusing a substance while using it and taking proper precautions.
Regardless, the OP is likely far too young to even worry about anabolics.

He is not on anything so far, he is 15 or 16 (I'm sorry I can't remember which right now) and looking for someone to give him advice in this area. Someone just posted what he thought was a joke telling him to take steroids.
Yes, corticosteroids and anabolic steroids are different. Cortico's run a risk if taken for longer than a specific amount of time, but they do not work in the manner that anabolics do. Personally, I am aware of this, but others may not be.

No no, I was referring to your son. You said you know about this and that your son is on steroids. I was pointing out that he(your son) is likely using a corticosteroid, which carries a different set of risks than anabolics(and as such, makes the issue unrelated), which is what was referred to in this thread.

Sorry about the miscommunication, yes he is on cortico's (Prednisone to be exact) and they still run a risk if not taken EXACTLY as prescribed.
Anyway, that is another topic in and of itself. ;)
