I bought a flexible track system from Home Depot and within one month of installation the transformer blew. Now my only recourse is to have the track system taken down and replaced with a new one. Is it not possible to fix the transformer separately? I don't want to incur the cost of taking it down...

Anyone know why Hampton Bay track states that you cannot cut the track? Every other brand allows track to be cut to the needed length and Hampton Bay is worthless to me if I can't cut it.
