Electrical outlet is difficult to insert plug
Is there anything that I can spray or use to lubricate an electrical outlet in order to make the plug slide in easier. Over time the outlet has become more difficult.:)

I would recommend replacing the outlet. Anything you may spray into the outlet may either be flammable or will end up adding a insulating coating to the contacts, and end up causing heat, and more damage.

Check the plug for damage also.

While watching TV last night the outlet went dead. It may have been overloaded. However, when I tested the outlet, the checker indicated that the Hot and ground were reversed. The circuit breaker looks good and I reset it for good measure. How do I go about solving this problem? Thanks, Lloyd.
