To whom it may concern:hi,I jose walked into court today for a conference hearing with my public defender,and attorney has asked me if I wanted to do a mental evalution on myself,I jose stated to my attorney that there has already been an evalution on me by the treatment center I have been going for the past couple of years as well as other therapist that I jose has seen before,I jose also stated that she may obtain my health records if I sign a consent form,and attorney stated back that she was requiring not court order by the judge but by my attorney request to see if I am competent to stand trial,please be aware that already in my health records it contains all of my mental/physcial conditions that I jose has had for quite some time now.my second questions if I do decide to have a mental evalution should I ask my attorney come with me to observe my evaluation at the hosiptal,please be aware that this isn't court order by the judge,but was brought up by my attorney outside the courtroom.your advice should I jose do an evaluation,or should I just release health information that already has been on file for some quite time now,or should I say yes to my attorney and proceed with her request.are there suppose to be 2 evaluation on a person, one for health conditions, and the other to see if person is compentent to stand trial.I like to say thank you to all who are supporting me on my questions about criminal law,it seems to me that the justice system here in Rhode Island is trying to play games with me,but I am striking back like a warrior with a positive attuitude.thank you,please reply:D

Okay Jose, we need to know a little more about the situation. Why were you in court? Why do they think you need an eval?
