Back history:

I conceived for the first time in Feb and miscarried in May. Had my DNC May 18th. It is now July 4th and still no period... The week that was about a month after the DNC, I had a brown spotting that lasted less than a day... Recently (within the last week... my fiancé and I have started to have sex again- though uncomfortable and a little painful at times, no bleeding afterwards though)

The issue:

This past weekend, I was working on an event (I am an event designer) atop a chair. I slipped and fell, and the chair went into my abdomen. There is no external bruising but pain in a very localized area that is only apparent when I press it. However, that night I went to the bathroom and had brown discharge on the toilet paper... since then (Sun/Mon/Tues) I have had the same brown discharge on toilet paper but not on my panties or liner...

As the holiday is here and I am out of town, I am wondering if I should be worried and seek immediate attention, or if this is something that is easily explained or normal? What is the cause of brown sticky discharge? Could it be related to the recent DNC?

This very well could be your first period since the D&C. However, you should be examined and diagnosed by a proper physician to be sure.
