Dear sir we are trying to sell out older great lakes mobil home there never has been a title for it. The person we bought it from gave us a bill of sale 14 yrs ago the motor vehicle dept wants a serial number we have searched the home top to bottom inside out there is none what we have found is a medallion on outside of the home by the door the lettering on it is mhma tca and looks like it has a eagle on it than below that says registered than a number the other thing we found was a attached plate on the furnace that said underwriters laboratories listed heating appliance for mobil home no. than the number the gentleman won't buy the home without a title if you could help us it would be greatly appreciated thank you kay5

There were many older models that did not have titles, check with your state license department and see if they require a title on a mobile home of that age. I know when I lived in Alabama many of our older cars just did not have titles.

Check on the hitch, by the jack. I think you will find the number there.
It should be stamped in the metal. Or some may have a plate with the information on it.
