    Ceiling fan remote control
I have a habor breeze ceiling fan and the remote control unit that I purchased to put in the fan which is also made by habor breeze caught fire and almost burnt the house down. Harbor breeze is made by litex fans. My question is has anyone had the same problem?

We have Hampton Bay fans with remotes, on 2 of the fans, the lights will not turn on. On one fan the light came on and the only way we could get it off is to unplug the line.

The first question, I've not heard of that from anyone else assuming you're the same person that emailed me. Definitely contact Harbor Breeze.

The second person, sounds like you have a shorted receiver.
