AC and blower do not activate
I have a 1 year old Goodman AC split unit. The unit's performance slowly deteriorated over the day to the point of non-functioning.

I set the thermostat to off and fan to on. The fan doesn't respond consistently and when it does come on the draft seems to be weaker than normal.

Are these symptoms of a dying blower fan? If the blower is dying will the condenser automatically deactivate?

    Thanks.

It could be may things. There is probably a circuit board in the unit that actually controls the fans etc. With the system being so new you might have a warranty to cover your problem. If not you can start replacing parts but it could get expensive real quick. Since we are not there it is very difficult to tell you what part to replace because it would be guess work on our part.
