    Covering grey hair
I've been coloring my own hair for years. My hair is naturally dark brown, but I've had grey hair since I was sixteen years old. Now at 47yrs old my hair is mostly grey. I use a meidum golden brown color on my hair. My grey hair turn meidum golden brown but the ends of my hair get dark brown. My question is "how do I lighten my ends to match the newly colored grey?"

Sorry about the last entry. Anyway, I had the same problem except I didn't start coloring my hair until I noticed the grey.which was in my mid-thirties. Now I am in my mid-forties with dark brown hair. After trial and error of home coloring, I had decided to go to a professional hair stylist. The hair stylist colored my hair a dark brown color. I was advised to color my hair (only at the roots) whenever the grey came out. Now, I don't bother with highlights or any other color. I stick to Loreal Supreme G5. I've saved a lot of money this way. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
