    Kill switch
    A friend rewired my craftsman mower,a 12 hp briggs. Push one toggle switch, the mower starts,then to turn off you get off and lift arm that engages blades. That engauges safety and engine stops. The system seems to always hot.

    Not sure what your question is but did he replace the ignition switch with a toggle? That should kill the engine, so should getting off the seat with the blades engaged.
