    Changing names on mineral rights
My parents have passed a few years ago and me being power of attorney. I've failed to get the names changed on the mineral rights from the will to me and my brother and sister. We never hired an attorney and tried to do it ourselves and really haven't had any problem till now. I guess one thing I should have done was file the will at the courthouse. Any help would be appreciated.

First of course power of attorney ends at their death, so it is of no value what so ever after their deaths. If there was a will, you will need to file a motion in probate court to issue a new deed to the minerals according to the terms of the will.

Yes time for the attorney now.
