    Door Skin removal, '96 Camaro
    Howdy!

After a regrettable display of anger mismanagement, I slammed my driver's side door to my Camaro, and heard a small tinkle. Turns out I have knocked loose a piece of plastic that holds two rods together to operate my outer door handle. This is an easy fix (I am told), but a body shop wants $130.00 minimum for the trouble. I do not have these kinds of bones in my bag so to speak. I tried to attempt the repair myself, but the inside panel will not allow me access to the parts in question. A friend who shelled out the big bananas for this repair, said that he watched them "pop" the outer door skin, and fix it. But he cannot remember how it was done. Does anybody out there know how to do this?

    I'd be much appreciated.
