    Cat found in hot automobile
Have you ever went to your car, garage etc and found a cat locked inside? I have a van and my husband rolled the windows up in it last night. When I got in it at 1 p.m. today a cat came running to the door of it . It had been in there all night. Thankfully the van was parked under a tree and last night it was very cool here and today the temp. was not so high. Our policy in the winter, is to blow the horn before we start our autos. Now our policy will be to blow the horn before we roll up the windows or take a look around inside. :)

My husband is bad about leavng windows down in cars, and my cats love the comfort of a nice soft chair to sleep on.The problem we've encountered is,males love to spray and mark their territory, and the smell is enough to kill you.Trying to get rid of this smell is like washing off a skunk. So if you realize you've left a window down in your car, check around to see if someone is catching a nap.I remember a long time ago,I was driving down the road, and all of a sudden one of my cats,Pookie, suddenly appeared and dove out the window. He was hit by a car,but he didn't have a mark on him.I worked at an animal hospital which was directly across from where he was struck by the car.So always look to see if may have an unexpected guest.:p

We have a cat street, I have pulled out of my driveway, and a cat came flying off my van roof... so now I take a look up there as well, before I get in, you never know where they may decide to catch some warm rays. I am just going to adopt the policy of tooting my horn every time I open my car doors. :)

I found a cat [ 2 Answers ]

Hi, To begin with, I found a cat hiding on the top of my tire in my car. I don't want to bring it to the animal control because I'm afraid she has no owner and I don't want her to be put to sleep. So instead, I'm making fliers and posting them around. So anyway, the cat doesn't want to eat or...
