    John 5:28-29
    Hello Everyone,

John 5:28-29 (New King James Version)
28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

Have you ever thought about this scripture?

If all good people go to heaven when they die, who would be left to resurrect?
And if all good people go to heaven when they die, then does God take who went to heaven and bring them and judge them again?
What is the purpose of the resurrection if all good people go to heaven and all bad people go to hell, when they die?

Who is Jesus to resurrect to judge? Whose is left, the good are in heaven and the bad are in hell and one needs to be dead because they are coming from their graves when they hear Jesus' voice?

    Interesting question wouldn’t you say?

    Take care,
    Hope12

    Hope,

If all good people go to heaven when they die, who would be left to resurrect?
Who said all "good people" go to heaven when they die? The bible says the only way to God is through His son - it has nothing to do with how 'good' you are, but how complete Christ's sacrifice was and your acceptance of the righteousness that only comes through him, by faith.

And if all good people go to heaven when they die, then does God take who went to heaven and bring them and judge them again?
Sigh... Hope, the 'good,' those who have done as I explained above are not going to be judged again, their works will be judged but every child of God will be welcomed in their Father's house.

What is the purpose of the resurrection if all good people go to heaven and all bad people go to hell, when they die?
There you go with that "good people" talk again. Since Jehovah's Wintesses don't believe in the immortality of the soul I don't know what to tell you as you likely won't believe me anyway.

Who is Jesus to resurrect to judge? Whose is left, the good are in heaven and the bad are in hell and one needs to be dead because they are coming from their graves when they hear Jesus' voice?
Hope, in as simple terms as I can put it, EVERYONE will be resurrected:

But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. Acts 24:14-15

We will all be resurrected. The just and unjust, the good and the bad. Because of Jesus Christ we all are given this gift. Resurrection does not occur when we die but when Christ returns. Resurrection is the process of our Spirit and our body being reunited.
