    Toilet tank fills intermittently
    Hello,

My toilet has an issue. Middle of the night, the plastic screw fitting on the tank end of the supply line burst (literally split in half around the circumference). I replaced the line, and my tank wouldn't fill. I opened the valve with the line removed from the tank. No water. I removed the line from the valve, and opened the valve. Water! I replaced the line onto the valve, and opened the valve. Water! I re-attached the line from the valve to the tank. The tank began to fill, seized, and stopped. Reversed the operation, back to the valve, re-attached to the tank, slowly opened the valve about 1/4 the way, tank slowly filled. Twice. Then nothing. Again, removed and replaced line, and replaced ballcock valve. Still, I can't open the angle valve all the way without the ballcock seizing/stopping, and the only remedy is to take the line off at the valve. Is there some kind of pressure valve in my line I am unaware of? Any hints?
