He is choosing son over daughter with other woman
I don't know what to do. He asked for visitation now he is trying his hardest to avoid his daughter but when it comes to his son he is all about that.. He wants to get back with his ex and son, so now he doesn't want anything to do with us.. I think she has a right to her father but he doesn't seem to think so what should I do try to enforce his parenting time or should I give up now before it gets really messy? Bobbiq

Complex situation... need more info.
How old is your daughter?
I assume based on your post that the mother of the son is the "ex", is this correct?
Are there any other children involved?

Yes that is his ex with the son, my child is 21 months with a disability.. So to him she is not the perfect child I am assuming, anyway it was on fathers day June 17th 2007 we went to his house for a visit following court guidelines as to how often he is supposed to see her and what holidays he is so supposed to see her, well his ex was there with her son and she had a fit that we showed up, although he was the one that said yes come over on fathers day, anyway apparently he wants to get back with her and she gave him an ultimatum his son or his daughter, well he knew I did not want to be with him so he asked us to leave his house and not to come back and I still haven't heard from him should I call him or just keep waiting to see if he changes his mind anytime soon, cause if he doesn't am I allowed to petition the court for termination of his parental visitation? Sincerely bobbiq

I wouldn't recommend calling him. It is his responsibility to fulfill his duties as a father, he shouldn't have to be reminded.
Limit the toxic impact to your daughter's life... It is certainly not fair to her to have a father who thinks that fatherhood comes with refund option.
I'm not sure if you will be able to terminate his visitation but you certainly do not have to be party to facilitating it for him (e.g. transporting her to him for visits). If he wants to see her, to minimize the negative impact on her with regards to his other family, he should come to her, alone...
As for petitioning the court for termination of his paternal visitation, if the option is available to you, check with a lawyer or check your local resources for a family/child advocacy group.
In my local area, courts are reluctant to limit or terminate visitation except in cases of blatant abuse and neglect.
Good Luck and remember: DO NOT CALL HIM... your time is better spent checking out your legal options.

I say don't fight. I grew up with a dad that beat me, than molested me. It really hurts when someone you love lets you down(especially a parent) so maybe she'd be better off without him. You and your family will be in my prayers. God bless
