Starting my dodge grand caravan
My caravan has had problems starting for a few weeks now. It would barely turn over and then finally start. (seemed like the battery was getting bad) Now the other day, it would turn over just fine but would not start. It took several tries and I was turning it over for probably a couple minutes. (battery seems fine if it can do that) Since doing that yesterday, now it has no power left to turn it over. (I assume I drained the battery) But even after I jumpstart it and run it for 1/2 hour, it still doesn't have any power. (seems the alternator is not working then) The car does have plenty of power and everything works when it is running. (that makes me think the alternator is actually working)
Any advice? New battery? New alternator? Both? Something else? Thanks, |
