Man and women shave their pubes all the time. I don't shave though, I use a depilatory cream (very carefully).

You don't sound stupid at all!

Yes, people do shave "down town".

A lot of people shave. I personally do it once in a while. When you first start shaving it itches a lot, but then you get over it.
A few people like it shaved, others trimmed, I don't know of anyone that likes it bushy. YUK:eek:
Just what ever you feel comfortable with.
Good luck and be very careful if you do decide to shave.
    :)
    p.s Yeah I wouldn't like to wax either :)

Lots of people do... I do, wife does and we both love it, how it looks and how it feels. It was common back during the Roman Empire and Greek Empire times as well.

Yeppers, lots of people do. It is normal. Shaving and waxing are both the same. Me personally, I hate hair so I keep it away by waxing but yeah people do shave.

I used to shave completely when I was in my 20s and early 30s, but then it started looking silly to be hairless down there, like a little girl. It just wasn't age appropriate any longer. So I switched to bikini shaving.

A lot of people shave. I prefer to shave simply because I don't like having a bush down there. Just be careful and don't cut yourself... it hurts. Also, they make special razors that are smaller for those "difficult" areas down there.

I shave "down there" myself and I have been doing it since I was *thinks about it for a minute* in my early teens. I am 20 right now. I shave because I have a "thing" about hair on my body... I have no hair on my arms, legs, and down there and my armpits. In my opinion though. If you don't feel like putting the effort into hair "designs" or trimming your "bush" and you prefer the close, smooth feeling shave completely. I know many girls who like the feel of being shaved (as with a few men too) but they don't like being completely shaved so they have done small designs. I've seen girls with little hearts made from hair and completely shaved everywheres else. I've even seen some men with lightning bolt patterns "down under" I think its more of a personal preference. But a word to the wise. When it grows back it does itch in the beginning. Now that I have been shaving for over 5 years it doesn't itch as it grows back but when its short you can feel it rubbing against any tight fabrics... Shaving for men can be much more dificult (I'm not sure if you are m or f.. No offence" the scrotum can be hard to shave as well as another place. If you're a male I'd say the best bet would be to trim. The most you would have to shave would be the base of the shaft so condoms cannot roll up with the hairs and cause immense pain

    Hello

Some do and some don't. If you don't know what you want to do then ask your partner. Make it a sexual adventure and shave each other. It grows back quick so if you don't like it no problem.

What is this? I've heard it mentioned but what does it actually mean?

I think it's sexier and attractive when people shave. It means they take care of themselves down there and they are clean.

Lemming. Binkini shaving is when you only shave the hair that would show around the edges of your swim suit or underwear

its only the younger people that usually think that way. Most of us know we are no longer kids and can do as we wish. After all how many guys think a clean shaven face makes them look like a little boy and as a result have ZZ Top style beards? No 20 or 30 some woman is going to look like a little girl because of shaved pubes. I do however rank a natural bush right up there with armpit hair and leg hair as signs of poor hygiene and generally quite unattractive to me.

I'm a guy and Ive been waxing everything down there for almost as long as I've had pubes. I think both guys and girls should be completely bare down town but that's just me...

Me too, bin. I just enjoy the feel of being clean shaven in the pube area. Everything feels so much smoother, i.e. good panties, etc.
