    Measuring for laminate flooring
Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me out I was looking at this laminate floor and on the box it says its covers 20.02 square ft per case. When I measured my floor with a tape measure it said 20ft by10 ft rounding off to the higher number so I was wondering if anyone could help me to how many cases I would need.

Im Figuring 10 Cases, But You Need 2 Extra Case At Least For Miscuts And Damaged Pieces.
    Have You Installed This Before?
Here Is What You'll Need, Hammer,a Tapping Block, (this Is A Must) There Is A Installation Kit You Can By It Has A Flat Bar For Prying And A Tapping Block That Fits The Floor So You Don't Damage It.
You Will Also Need 2 Or 3 Rolls Of Padding To Go Under The Floor. I Think It Runs $25 Per Rolls.
Miter Saw, Jig Saw, You'll Also Need Some Type Of Jamb Saw For Undercutting Your Door Jambs. If You Don't Have An Electric One Just By You A Dove Tail Saw This Will Work Just Slower.
Also Make Sure You Keep It Off The Walls 1/4" For Expansion

By The Way The Math For You Question Is 200ft Divided By 20square Ft
    20ft X 10ft Is 200square Ft
The Extra 2 Boxes Is Mainly For When You Damage One. There Easy To Do When You Tapping Them To Hard. The Tapping Block Needs To Have A lot Of Pressure On It So Hold It Tight To The Board So It Doesn't Move,
I Also Try And Figure To Use The Cut Offs To Start Another Row.
Its Easier To Just Take Back The Extra Than Not Have Enough The First Time.
    Good Luck
