    Stick & tiles
I bought some stick & tiles for my basement that look like ceramic. Can I put grout between the tiles to make it look like real ceramic?

    Thanks,

No Ya Cant, The Tile Most Likely Have The Grout Edge To Them For Getting That Look, But If Your Like Me Just An Answer Isn't Good Enough, You May Need To Know What Will Happen If You Do It Anyway. Right. Ok. The Surface Has To Be Really Clean Just To Lay The Tile. Any Dust Or Dirt Or Moisture And They'll Just Pop Up Shortly After You Lay Them. Now With That In Mind, Once You Lay Them And There Set Your Basically Going To Be Pushing Grout All Around The Tile And Most Likely It Will Get Underneath Them, You'll Also Have To Scrub The Tile To Get The Grout Off The Tile Itself This May Even Scratch The Finish Up.
My Advice Is To Not Try This. It Will Only End With You Taking The Tile Back Up, And Maybe Some Odd Looks From Your Friends. If You Want Real Tile , Just Get Real Tile. You Can Find Some For .78 A Foot. You'll Probably Pay That For The Tile You Bought. If You Have Concrete Floors You'll Say A lot There By Not Needing Backer Board, Hope That Helps

Old glue on floor from stick-on tiles [ 2 Answers ]

Hi! I removed the old damaged stick-on tiles from my bathroom floor, and the floor is terrazzo. I do understand that this kind of floor is porous so there is going to be some difficulty in getting it clean. The glue surface left behind is rough, gritty and is holding a lot of dirt. It looks...
